Rebecca calls Heather's number, but the cop answers, and she hangs up rather than ask for Heather. She'll try again, eventually he has to go out, he's a cop. She's already met one of her neighbors, Rainier, an attractive European who looked her over thoroughly while he helped her move her desk into her room. Charming & intelligent, he's also an obvious player who treats sex like a sport, and Rebecca is considering him as a candidate for her first post Shannon encounter. And then she chides herself for even coining that phrase, 'post Shannon', like he was an era in her life. Leaving Frisco was not about leaving Shannon, anyway, it was about leaving the past, moving on... Deciding not to call Coby right away, when she runs into another of her neighbors, Xtina, dressed as if to go clubbing, she decides to invite her out. Rebecca needs the distraction, and who knows who she'll run into if she goes out alone.

Xtina is a little on the bossy side, petulantly demanding they go get a drink, right now.
