Nicolas signals for Mary to meet him quickly in the rest area. Because this is a label party, all the talent will have to perform, Nicolas is himself going onstage in a moment, and briefly explains the situation to Mary: It is imperative that his younger brother not even begin to suspect their affair, and there is no way Nico can join Mary tonight in her hotel room, not even for an half an hour.

"Nicolas, you are so adorable," Mary purrs.

She kisses him forcefully, and Nico's heart hammers hard against his chest: anyone, including Andrea, could walk around the corner now, and witness this.

Nicolas is actually relieved he has to get up onstage & sing his song yet one more time. Mary joins Andrea & Debbie in the audience, and suddenly the two women are fighting.

It's got all the hallmarks of a catfight over a guy: certainly not Nicolas, Debbie hardly spoke to him while they were shooting the video.
