Montana Ave Plaza (Old Town): Lot 71. The Montana Ave. area of Santa Monica hosts the kind of shops & eateries that are giving the city the nickname "Beverly Hills by the Beach". This Old Town shopping center features upscale establishments like a French Market, the Cafe de la Mode espresso bar, a designer Parfumerie, a Sushi bar & a luxury spa. Fancy glass elevator, featuring invisible staircase hack by Gnohmon at Livin-it-up.
Exterior: Brick walls, ATMs & Red Mustang by Cravze at Livin-it-up. I'm using a 'no busker' and 'no kids' sign from Sim Logical that keeps street musicians & children from staying on this lot. Glass elevator windows & sliding doors by 77 Sim Lane. Tall 'rose stone' fashion windows by Jendea Simtecture, black windows by Mhari at Livin-it-up.
First Floor: French Market by Around the Sims sells veggies, seeds, MM berries & baking supplies, candies, flowers, pet treats & pet toys. Parfumerie, also by Around the Sims sells jewelry, Cafe de la Mode by Parsimonious serves espresso & features a performance stage & bookshelves that Sims will reads books, newspaper & magazines from.
Second Floor: Sushi bar, spa & restrooms. "Pane in the Glass" spa set by Parsimonious. The 'empty' room with the glass walls actually contains 3 invisible vertical staircases by Gnohmon at Livin-it-up. There are 3 doors on the 1st level, facing out toward the plaza and 3 doors on the 2nd level on the opposite wall.
Here, Eleanor is entering the elevator on the first level. The doors are on the outside of the building. The invisible staircase will transport her to the same spot on the next level.
Here Eleanor has arrived onto the second level & is exiting the elevator. On the 2nd level, the elevator doors are on the opposite side. (elevator wallpaper & floor tiles by Vix at Livin-it-up, windows & matching sliding doors by 77 Sim Lane.)
In this pic of the cafe, you can see the 'invisible' vertical staircase. When you place them in build mode & also when you first enter the lot in Live mode, the invisible 'elevator' stairs appear as vertical blue lines so you know where they are
Cafe de la Mode by Parsimonious, comes with everything you see here. It also comes with a custom Saxophonist, but she did not appear in my game (before I put in the no busker sign, lol). Instead I got the usual saxophonist, so I put in the no busker sign to get rid of him & the organ grinder. I might try this set away from OT to see if I get the sax player...
