Bill has Nico on a busy shooting schedule: the 8 minute song will require several hours of footage to be chopped into what Bill is calling a 'conceptual montage'. Nico & Mary have to fit their 'meetings' around their work, and frequently get together at odd hours and strange places. She has a spa appointment here on the Sunset Strip in the mid-morning: Nicolas meets her early before heading to his own video shoot.

Nicolas talks about Jackie a lot when he's with Mary, he's tells her about their history, how Bill was actually instrumental in getting them together, "I was ready to fly back home & just give up everything, and she had had it with me, because of that stupid interview I did with Charlie Chatterbox...but Bill made us play together, and that really did it for us," he tells her, and Mary asks questions about Jackie, about the baby. She's not jealous or possessive, what they share isn't love.

Mary's massage appointment is in just a few minutes, but she's a star & they will wait for her, if she's a bit delayed changing.

He's not getting paid for this, he's doing it because he wants to. But Nico feels the similarity between what he's doing now & what he did to make ends meet before he got famous; maybe he liked that lifestyle a bit more than he admitted to himself.

Nicolas leaves Mary to her massage, and goes to shoot his video. Everyday, it's lip-syncing the same song, wearing a different outfit. Whatever Bill's 'concept' is supposed to be, it can't be very profound.
