Coby tells Becca about his broken heart. He knows, if he were trying to score, this would be the worst possible move. But this is Becca, she might actually be able to help him. He tells her how deeply he had fallen for Ti, and how she dumped him for another guy, how he can't get over her.

Becca laughs a little scornfully, though not without affection. "Ti? God, Coby, your girlfriends always have such stupid names...and you're way too young to be thinking you're in love," she says. It comes to him suddenly that Rebecca is a lot like Ti, or rather, Ti was a lot like Becca, and while he never recalled his first crush while he was dating Ti, now that Becca is standing beside him pouring cold water over his ardent confession, he sees what attracted him to Ti in the first place. He was looking for a replacement Becca.

Of all people, they run into PJ & Kyle. Coby wouldn't have thought his neighbors would come out to Hollywood at all, it's a surprise to see them here.

Tanner joins them, and Coby thinks ruefully that they just need Hayley to show up with her puppet to round off the crew. Rebecca doesn't have to say anything, and it's probably just as well that she doesn't: this was the same issue he had with Ti, though they got along great on their own, they couldn't be around each other's friends.

Becca tells him she has to take off, "I'll let you hang out with your friends," she says. "You're my friend, Becca," Coby says as he reaches out to hug her, "I haven't seen you in ages, these are my neighbors. If you want to go somewhere else..."

She makes a sound like a sigh or a hushed sob in his ear as she settles into his arms. "It's really great to see you again, Coby, I'm so glad I ran into you. But I just moved all my shit today & I'm wiped out, so I'm going to head home. I'll give you a call & we'll hang out, okay?" Coby tightens his arms around her before letting her go.
