Which downloads will work in your game? (Sims 2)

The icons near each filename show what EPs the download will be suitable for.  This is in respect of the *latest* EP you have installed.  So if your latest EP is Seasons, and you see the icon somewhere in its list, then that download will be suitable for you.   If you have Bon Voyage and Seasons, and the download only has the icon, it will NOT be suitable for you, because your *latest* EP is Bon Voyage, and the download does not have the icon.

Sometimes a download will require a certain EP (for example the sectional seating patches require Nightlife) and then I write that fact in bold italics in the description next to the download.  After ensuring you have the required EP, you still need to check the compatibility list for your latest EP as described above.

= Can be used in game without EPs

= Can be used in a game whose latest EP is University

= Can be used in a game whose latest EP is NightLife

= Can be used in a game whose latest EP is Open For Business

= Can be used in a game whose latest EP is Pets

= Can be used in a game whose latest EP is Seasons

= Can be used in a game whose latest EP is Bon Voyage

Very occasionally you will see an icon crossed out - eg .   That means if you have that EP, no matter which others you have, you must not use this download.

Often I update a hack when there is a new EP and the previous version is not suitable for the new EP.  In that case I leave the old version online for people without that EP to use, and you will then see different versions each with a different set of suitability icons.  You just select the version that has the icon to match your latest EP.
