They chat for awhile: Xtina doesn't care so much what he says, everything sounds good in his accent.

But eventually, she tells him she'd better go. Coby has probably been home from surfing for hours & she's starting to feel guilty about being in Rainier's room when she ought to be with her boyfriend. Rainier kisses her on each cheek & tells her hopes they can go out again sometime.

And then he does something so gallant & reminiscent of Gavin, Xtina nearly melts into a puddle on his floor.

"Of course we can go shopping or something again, Rainier," Xtina says before she can stop herself. "I'll take you to the Rage Cage, my favorite nightclub. It's right around the corner..."
