Heather is his dream girl, Ulises has no doubts about it. He knows a lot of guys on the force who got dragged on boring cruises & had their wallets emptied on expensive honeymoons that they weren't into themselves. But heather's not into any of that: instead she wants to drive up to Cambria, just a few hours north of L.A. on the coast, to do a little wine tasting & absorb the natural setting, close to the ocean, in the woods.

The little village is filled with craft shops with all kinds of bric a brac to poke around in.

Of course Amber makes a beeline for the toy shop. And Ulises feels like a 'new' Dad, so he buys her the teddy bear she is eyeing right away.

And he's instantly rewarded with a bear hug from Amber.

While they are fishing, Amber announces that she wants to learn to play guitar & be in a band like her father someday. ulises is more than happy to promise to buy her a guitar for her birthday. Never creative himself, he appreciates artistic people like Heather, and thinks it important to foster a child's creative leanings.

But of course this trip isn't just about family time, it's his honeymoon, and as soon as Amber runs off to play with some other children, Ulises takes his new wife into his arms. He's given up on protestingg her too public demonstrations of physical affection: he loves her more than anything & if that means the whol world hass to see her reaching her hands up under his shirt, so be it.
