Ulises heads for the pizza place next to Psyche Delia's, and is suprized to run into Heather. She tells him she was just at the music store down the block, buying the new Bil Frisell Intercontintentals cd. It's like they're made for each other he thinks: how many other girls are going to have the same taste in music as him? But why does she have to come all the way out to Hollywood from Topanga to buy cds?

She wants to go dancing at Rage Cage: that's actually where he was going, looking for drug dealers. Pizza & ice cream is one thing, but he's supposed to be undercover working vice, not out on a date. He's barely started dating Heather & already it is creating conflicts with his work. He tells her he's kind of busy in a vague sort of way & she gets pissed.

She asks what he's doing that's so important that she can't come along...does he have a date with someone else? Where did that come from? he wonders, but he feels suddenly guilty over taking Salome's number earlier, and he realizes he can't show up at the club alone now if he refuses to go with her. Maybe people will be less put off by him if he is seen with a hottie like Heather, anyway. "I was just going to go home & work out," he tells her "But I'll go dancing with you for awhile"
