Kelly

Kelly sends her pathetic resume to the people Luz reccommended to her, hoping that her connection to Luz can get her places her own lack of skill & experience cannot. But in the meantime, she must walk, groom & clean up the messes of Byron's dog Grok. This time, the little runt has managed to piss the whole bathroom floor.

While Kelly is always happy to see Alison, having her come in while she's cleaning up after Grok is a liitle depressing. Hopefully, she can get a 'real' job soon, one where she isn't doing menial chores.

Alison isn't here to work: Byron's movie doesn't start production for another week or so. "Hey, gorgeous," Alison says to her, "I have a suprise for you when you finish here." Kelly doesn't feel particularly gorgeous after mopping up dog piss, but Alison makes her feel really good when she says things like that. What suprise does she have up her sleeve? Alison won't say, except to tell Kelly she'll find out after work.

When she gets off work, Alison takes her to a vacant apartment in West Hollywood, not far from where Alison lives. It's gorgeous one bedroom & Kelly immediately falls in love with the sunflower decor in the kitchen. But what's the suprise? That Alison is moving? Alison says she is thinking of moving, because her place is so small. And she asks Kelly what she thinks.

This is a really great place, Kelly thinks as she wanders around the empty apartment. It's got great windows & lots of space...."When are you planning on moving?" she asks Alison. "Baby, this place isn't for me, it's for you," Alison answers, completely confusing Kelly for a moment. It is a long drive out to Burbank, Kelly thinks, and she knows that when the movie starts shooting, Alison will have long work days. Does she want Kelly to live closer by her? Kelly asks her that & Alison laughs & tells her she wants for them to move in here together. that's the suprise then. Kelly is at a loss for a moment, Luz's warning about Alison being the devil playing over in her head. This goes against everything Luz said about Alison, that she'd leave Kelly behind as soon as the next movie started. "I don't know, it all seems kind of sudden," Kelly finally says, knowing she has to say something. And she breaks out of Alison's grasp to wander around the place some more & think. Of course Luz just might be jealous, perhaps she & Alison had something once, & maybe Alison was mean to her. She does have a sarcastic tongue & can hurt your feelings without batting an eye...

Kelly wanders into the empty bedroom, with the large blacony just outside. This really would be a great place to live, and that kitchen is everything Kelly ever wanted...but she & Alison have only been dating for such a short time, how can she make that kind of decision so quickly? But Alison seems sure that this is what she wants, she tells Kelly she's the only girl for her & she promises to make Kelly happy. Then she sweeps Kelly down into one of her irressitible kisses, and Kelly hears herself agreeing to move in with Alison before she can think twice about it. She really hopes she doing the right thing: she's already been through one divorce.....
