Nico makes love to her when they get home, without cleaning his guitar first, without checking his amps, and he tells her over & over that he loves her, and she is so very beautiful. In moments like these, she believes him. He does so much for her, he tries so hard to convince her he really is hers.

She dreams that night she's downstairs with Nico, they're dancing, and he dips her down to kiss her.

When she is upright again, she gets a strange feeling in her stomach. "I'm having the baby now," she says, though it seems so odd, her pregnancy hasn't even started to show yet.

A baby in acradle appears in a swirl of flowers. As though this is how babies are really born....

Nicolas is on the ball right away, immediately cradling the child in his arms, singing to her, while Jackie just stands, unsure what she's supposed to do.

Nicolas put the baby back in her cradle, but she starts to cry. "She wants you, Jackie," Nico says.

Jackie picks her up, but it seems wrong. She's never held a baby before, she doesn't know what to do. "Help, me, Nicolas," she says,"I don't know what to do," "I can't do everything for you Jacklyn," he says, not even turning to look at her. Jackie wakes then, jolting forward, her breath ragged. Nico wakes with her, sitting up behind her & taking her in his arms."Whatever it was, it was only a dream, Jackie."
