Jackie's been having strange dreams lately, confusing nightmares in which her life spins completely out of her control. She dreams Bill somehow gets her out of her band, takes Nico away from her, and turns her into some pop diva...She wakes sweating from that one, relieved to hear Nicolas breathing beside her. She snuggles close to him, waking him slightly, so he murmurs something in Italian & slides his hand over breast before falling back into sleep.

On the night before the MTV party at Matt's house, Jackie dreams she's in some castle, wearing a costume a lot like the costume Nico had to wear for the photo shoot. Except hers has a miniskirt...is she shooting a video or something? she wonders. Where's Nico & Matt?

Suddenly, she's dueling, with Ben of all people. Did Bill set this up? she wonders. "When are you going to marry me?" Ben demands.

It just gets weirder as the castle becomes a movie set. The director is yelling at her, telling her she's lousy, her career is over. This is not my career, Jackie thinks, What am I doing here?

In the morning, Jackie thinks about her dreams while she exercises. She does feel like she's losing control of her own life, like every move she makes is dictated by Bill: she can't even have a party with regular people anymore, it gets turned into an MTV party. And Nicolas, she loves him so much that any thought of losing him makes her heart stand still, but every time he asks when they can get married, she feels this wave of fear. She wanted to be his lover, but it's way beyond that now, she found herself deep inside, when she only wanted to get her feet wet.
