Right after they finally successfully shoot the balcony scene & have started on the dinner scene with Dream's siblings in the Hall of Destiny, Byron disappears suddenly, telling no one where he's gone, leaving his movie crew with time on their hands. Time at last for Gavin to spend with Shay. With the mysterious circumstances of their director's disappearance on their minds, they spend the day at his house, relaxing, watching DVDs.

They happen to be home for a special Indian dinner Justin made. The last time Gavin had Indian food was on a date with Shay, the day he met Byron, when the director 'discovered' him, and told him he was his 'Dream'. Shay is wearing the same outfit she wore that day, too, one of Gavin's favorites, he loves the off the shoulder look. The universe works very mysteriously, Gavin thinks.

With all the stress of the job, Shay gets a little nagging in her tone & whines to him about Byron after dinner.

He forgives her easily: this job is hard on both of them. And he knows exactly what to do to make it right, kissing her gently. "Let's go up to your room," she whispers in his ear. His thoughts exactly.
