Gavin & Shay spend a lot of time together in the ensuing week, and he spends most of his nights in her bed. Being the romantic that he is, Gavin would like to do something very special for Valentine's Day, and Shay would be more than happy to join him, but the world is not always so kind to lovers. She has to work all day. So, they make the best of it, & Gavin agres to meet her after her shift for dinner & a drink or two. And then he'd like to go back to his place tonight, for a change. Gavin shows up a little early, so he browses around while waiting for Shay.

When she s finally able to clock out, Gavin tells her how gorgeous she looks. Even after a long day of working.

Oddly enough, there isn't a florist in Sim L.A. that sells anything other than roses....Where can a guy get some orchids, for crying out loud?

They might not be able to do anything particularly special for Valentine's Day, but Gavin will make it special by being extraordinarily complimentary.

They've been together a week, but for Gavin it's as though they've been in love forever.

He feels a stab of guilt over Xtina when he takes Shay dancing at one of their former hangouts. It does not sit well with him, the way they parted company, and he's not sure how she would react, seeing him with Shay, because he never was completely convinced that she really meant to break it off with him. He thinks perhaps she might even now still be waiting on him to call. But he pushes these thoughts to the back of his mind: Shay deserves his full attention & it isn't fair for him to think of any other girl at all while he's with her.
