Kelly's east coast accent & her fresh off the plane vibe is a major attractant for Alison. An NYU film school graduate, she moved to L.A. for the film industry, and has lived and worked here for 5 years, but she stills considers herself a NYer. She tells Kelly the thing she hates the most about L.A. is the sprawl...it is impossible to live here without a car. Kelly completely empathizes: it takes her 20 minutes just to get out of Burbank, let alone get anywhere.
