Alison met Kelly in her apartment building while Kelly was visiting Alison's neighbor Luz. Luz has a lot of female friends, both lesbian & straight and Alison isn't sure which Kelly is. But one thing is sure, all of Luz's friends are extremely political, so Alison tries talking a little politics with Kelly, though she really doesn't follow world events too carefully herself.

Kelly's complete lack of interest in anything political is a huge surprise: Alison wonders how Kelly can stand Luz at all, since in Alison's experience, it is impossible to have a conversation with Luz that isn't about politics.

Kelly asks Alison to dance. Alison's not much of a dancer, but she gives it a go. It's all so platonic..is Kelly straight or is she gay but just not interested in her? And where does Luz fit into this picture? Alison would love to know.

After another drink, Alison tests the waters & gets flirty.
