Adam's day starts with an audition at Paramount Studios...well, an audition to audition really. Ruben, an assistant to director Byron Palisades tells Adam he's very good. Auditions for Byron's next movie won't begin for awhile, but they'll keep adam in mind

Next is a 'real' audition, for an aspirin commercial. It seemed to go really well, but you never know for sure until your agent calls.

This is Adam's most important audition today, the Pantages theater is beginning casting for a new musial version of Pirates of the Caribbean. Adam would so love to be Johnny Depp!

There are things you have to do get anywhere in the entertainment industry. Soaking in a hot tub with an important producer of musical theater is just the tip of an iceberg that Adam sees himself steering his Titanic dreams of stardom towards. Christine wants to bring him to a party later this week, to meet other 'theater people'. This is the closest Adam has been to getting a 'real' acting job, not a commercial, & he is willing to go pretty far to see his dreams come true.....but he has a lot invested in his relationship with Steve, it is not something he wants to risk losing. Adam is not sure if the fact that he doesn't even like girls will make escorting Christine easier or harder. He feels a little nauseous as she tickles his toes, but he agrees to go with her to this party. Whatever else happens, meeting other 'theater' people is reason enough.
