After he grabs some lunch he runs into Gerald. Gerald & Adam are old friends, but Gerry's been moving up in the Industry & now gives Adam the whole 'I don't know you' attitude.

Adam tells Steve about his auditions that day. "You were my inspiration for the doctor in the aspirin ad," he says. And he tells Steve the producer of the 'Pirates' musical wants to bring him to a party, but he doesn't tell Steve about Christine or what she will want from him in return for her help up the ladder.
