It's inevitable Xtina will run into Gavin at the rave bar as much as at the Rage Cage. She may have quit school, but she still has the same old friends, the same old routine that keeps her & Gavin circling each other in this small pond of a subculture. And she does love dancing with him. They always did look good together, their friends always say so.

Gavin's got an innate charm that no girl, not even Xtina, can resist forever. She can't help but blush a little at his compliments, and caress his hand.

But it really is for the best that they stay just friends, Xtina scolds herself.

She needs some caffeine before she goes home, so Xtina goes with cafe to the art cafe. The place is pretty dead, but Gavin decides to do an impromptu performance, anyway.

Xtina would never have gotten involved with Gavin at all if she didn't respect his talent. He is bold & willing to go all the way for his art & that is something Xtina truly admires in him.
