Steve tries to get Adam to talk about it that night in bed.

But Adam grabs Steve & pulls him under the covers with demanding passion. Steve wants to consider this a good sign, that Adam is coming back to his old self. But the way Adam sighs & folds into himself when Steve turns out the light tells him this is not over at all.

Steve meets with Luz for lunch the next day. He's worked with Luz in the past on several gay rights issues & now she wants to discuss a new gay environmentalist group she's getting involved with.

It seems like a great idea to Steve, he's also concerned about environmental issues, especially ocean pollution. But he's got a lot going on right now & he hasn't got the time to get too involved. He does pull out his checkbook to give Luz a donation, though. In fact he hasn't listened to half of what Luz said....he can't get Adam's odd mood out of his head.

He decides to get a quick espresso before heading back to the office: he has 2 breast augmentations this afternoon & he really needs a pick me up. While he's in line a beautiful young man initiates a conversation with him. His name is Luke & he says he's new to L.A., just drove in today in fact. He was supposed to meet a guy he met online here, but now that Luke is in L.A., he can't reach this guy & he's broke & doesn't know what to do.
