Shay would never suspect Astrid had any motive but friendliness, spending so much time with her on the set.

The backrub is maybe a little weird. But it feels really good: this job has hideously long hours and Shay feels achy & tired 24/7.

There's never enough time for Gavin, and Gavin has no time for her either. If they weren't in it together, they might not see each other at all.

She made the costume herself: still every time she sees him in it it takes her breath away, how beautiful he is. She imagines how he'll look on the movie screen, larger than life.

Astrid is definitely a third wheel here, but Shay is too nice to cut her off so she can be alone with Gavin.

Hardly any time at all, just a hug, a kiss and they have to move on.
