Serena doesn't question the reality of what happened in her dream for a second. She promised Byron she'd be at his house today for the costume shoot, so she does as she said.

He has a crew of assistants, there for the costumes & the make up & whatever other services he requires. And there are two actresses there as well, one made-up & costumed as a fairy, the other is to play a character called 'Delirium', an immortal, a personification of insanity. Serena is immediately suspicious of both of them, for they have an aura of the unearthly about them. Already, she thinks, it is beginning, Byron's unused & untrained gifts are attracting thee darker forces to him.

'Delirium' continues posing even after Byron has stopped shooting, as though she is already in character, completely insane, delirious....Byron has no idea what he's getting himself into with these characters. And what else did he learn in Nepal, besides being able to summon her into his dreams?

Finished with his photographing, Byron approaches her, taking her hands. "I'm glad you came, Serena," he says.

"Really, really glad," he adds, giving her a sudden hug. "Off course I came," Serena says, "I said I would."

"But, Byron, I don't like these actresses you have here, there is something unearthly about them..." Serena warns him quietly. "It's their make up & costumes," Byron says, laughing a little, "Chloe & Shay did a great job. 'Nuala', the fairy, looks especially convincing, I'm really happy with them," he adds emphatically. "It's not just the make up, Byron," Serena sighs, "I can't be fooled by a costume...where did you get them, anyway?" Byron looks stumped for a moment. "You know, I don't remember...maybe they came from central casting....I don't think I auditioned them..." he says finally, looking off into space. "You see, that's what I mean, Byron, there's something not right about all this..." Byron just laughs again, "Serena, I forget a LOT of things. If everything that gets lost in the clutter of my head were to make you suspicious...." he trails off, laughing again.
