Serena

Serena spends a restless night, unable to sleep, and rushes to Byron's house at first light, where Alison has already called the police to report Byron missing. "I've only just opened this case, Serena," Ulises, the detective, says to her as she comes in, "We haven't called you yet..but do you have any information for us?" Serena often works with LAPD on cases so desperate they're willing to call a psychic. Some of them, like Ulises, value her opinion, and some do not. She's solved many cases for them, but sadly, she has clue what happened to Byron. "I'm here as Byron's friend," she explains sadly, "I've been having bad premonitions about his latest film since he started shooting, but I don't know what happened to him."

One of the policemen says something unkind about Byron probably being off with some hot actress girlfriend somewhere.

Byron has certainly earned his reputation as a flake & a philanderer, but Serena doesn't need it pointed out to her by one of the men who is supposed to find out what happened to him.

When the officer takes out a puppet to cheer her up, Serena breaks down in tears. She has no idea what happened to Byron except vague feelings of menace. He asked to come home with her, and she refused, and he disappeared that night. If she had let him stay with her, would he have disappeared?
