After the long pre-dawn drive to Palm Springs, Luz & Kelly sit down for a drink. Kelly starts off by talking about shoes. Luz sighs...she meant this trip to help her get over her Kelly obsession. It seems to be working already.

They sunbathe by the pool for awhile. As the desert heat starts turning up, Luz suggests they go for a swim, but Kelly isn't up for it.

Well maybe they should do something else, then.

A dip in the hot tub should get all the sand, sweat & oil off their skin. Kelly gets miffy when Luz offers to scrub her.

Except for the physical attraction, there is nothing to this relationship.

This has been a tiring day. Luz & Kelly head up to their room to relax. Luz tells Kelly about the Noam Chomsky book she is reading.

Luz goes on for awhile, until Kelly finally tells her she just doesn't give a damn & to please just stop talking about it.
