They sit down for a drink, so Kelly can tell Alison everything, about her parents, her ex, about Ester & even about Luz. (She makes she's very clear about being done with Luz!). She feels very young & naive compared to the very streetwise & cool Alison, and Kelly is a little shy about opening up to her, fearing she'll look stupid but she so needs to talk to someone about all the confusion in her head, she can risk being looked down on. When she finishes, Alison reaches across the table & takes her hands. Of course, Alison is so cool she doesn't look down on Kelly...just like with her job situation, she just wants to help. "I think you should worry less about 'who' you are & worry more about being with people you like to be with & doing whatever you want to do," Alison says. It's the best advice Kelly's heard yet. "I like you," she answers, shyly, hoping she's not being a total schoolgirl.

The bartender calls last call, Kelly's least favorite time. Alison's skillful, passionate kiss draws a current of desire up her spine, & her legs tremble as she presses herself close. She invites Alison home with her, bemoaning her pathetic single bed. "Why don't you let me romance you for awhile before I take you home," Alison says to her, looking lovingly at her with her brilliant green eyes. Kelly feels herself blush all over again. Kelly continues to feel the heat of her blush all the way back to Burbank, she still feels Alison's hand on her thigh, her tongue on her ear, and her deep, deep, kiss as she climbs into bed & falls asleep.

8am the next day, Alison introduces her to Byron & the dog, Grok. Kelly's not just going to walk the dog, she's going to attend to all it's needs. Alison is right, Grok is a freaky looking dog with a freaky name. Well, it's a living. Pacific Palisades is a beautiful neighborhood for dog walking & Grok is actually very sweet, though he is the weirdest looking dog she's ever seen.

(the juniper bush by Sim Logical summons Kelly at the time I choose & forces her to stay on the lot. I use the event controller & targetable computer from the same site to summon Alison to work, too )

And she has to feed & entertain Jabba the Iguana, too. This guy has a huge house! The butler creeps around silently following Kelly, dusting behind her as though she leaves her servile filth everywhere she treads. Byron himself spends hours in his scuba tank or up in his studio & Alison is of course busy with the movie stuff.

She runs into Alison in the bathroom. Alison has time for a brief hug only: she has to run out to the studio for the rest of the day. Alison works really late & irregular hours, but she says she'll try to call Kelly tonight. It's just been one morning, but Kelly's already realized this isn't as glamorous as she'd imagined, hanging out with a very rich, very strange man's weird looking dog & an iguana. But she's heard Byron order Alison around like a slave, so Kelly is glad it is the dog & not the master, that she works for.
