As good as his word, Gavin calls Shay the next morning as she's getting ready for work & invites her out to dinner that evening. Shay laughs & says she's suprised to hear from him, which puzzles him greatly. He did say he'd call, didn't he? But she agrees to meet him in bar in the Rodeo Dr. Plaza, where they can have a drink before changing into the formal wear required in the exclusive restaurant.

Gavin likes to literally sweep his girl off her feet.

Though she doesn't literally lift him off the ground, Gavin is also swept off his feet in a more metaphorical sense. The girl can kiss like no one he's ever kissed.

Gavin is no fan of karaoke or the pop tunes programmed into the karaoke machine. But he senses Shay needs a lot of encouragement to overcome her natural shyness & really shine. She has a voice & when she can let go of her self-consciousness, she has a real presence, something he hopes to see more of, so he talks her into singing a song for him.

They change into more formal attire and meet up again downstairs in the chocolatier. Shay is stunning in her gown, which is of course one of her own designs. Gavin would prefer to give her a more exotic bouquet, orchids & lillies being his favorite flowers, but the red roses will have to do for now.

Gavin can't resist kissing her again, it is the sweetest kiss he's ever tasted.

(I used the clothes changing lant from Sim Logical to change Gavin & Shay into their formals. It changes everyone else on the lot, excluding NPCs. Not that Shay & Gavin even notice anyone else, lol)
