Coby runs into Hayley outside his apartment one afternoon. As usual, she's enthusiastic about some sport or another. She's always doing something & it shows. She has an incredibly fit body, and she's amazingly limber.

Since he hasn't got much do today, he asks if she wants to go out and see a movie or something.

So far, Hayley's been pretty easy to please. Having her next door helps, he can get away with just hanging out with her a lot & not going out. But he figures he has to put out every once in a while himself if he's going to maintain.

Coby just got his Dad's 'guilt check', and he's meeting the software company guy tomorrow about being a character in his surf game, so Coby easily pays for the whole deal, movie tickets, ice cream, everything. He doesn't do it very often, but he feels flush with cash.

Of course you don't bring a chick to the movies because you want to watch a movie..Coby tries to move in for a kiss.

But Hayley wants to watch the movie. Major disappointment, but Coby imagines he'll make up for it later.

After the movie, they head up to Hootie's Fraternal Disorder for a couple of beers.
