Coby

Heather comes by to visit, to check out Coby's new place.

"Here, you have to take this," she says, handing him a fat sack, "Ulises freaks out if I have too much product around the house. Ugh, and everything is such a mess with the construction, I keep losing everything. So, can I bring Amber over to swim in the pool sometimes?" Besides the money, Coby's Dad didn't add much content to his life, except for marrying Heather's Mom. Brief as the marriage was, it provided Coby with a permanent family. Including a niece he has to let swim in his pool. "Sure, Heather," he says.

"Heather!" Tanner exclaims, excited to see Coby's step-sister. Tanner was extremely bummed when Coby told him she was married now.

Tanner keeps trying anyway.

Coby starts to think Tanner & Hayley should get together with the puppet thing.

Hayley shows up then, as though she senses another female presense in Coby's apartment. Coby glares at Tanner: doesn't he know better than to leave the door unlocked? Hayley looks suspiciously at Heather, until Coby introduces her as his sister. At least he doesn't have anything to be uncomfortable about with her! Then they get along really well. As Heather starts to get too chummy with Hayley, he decides to intercede & tell Hayley he wants to talk to his sister about family stuff & that he'll come over to see her in a few minutes.

"I can't come with you this Sunday," Heather says as she heads toward the door, "Ulises wants to do the whole Mother's Day thing with me & Amber. Amber had no idea there was such a thing," she laughs & rolls her eyes. "That's okay, Heather, you should have fun with your family," Coby tells her, kissing her goodbye. "Dude," Tanner says as the door closes behind her, "You are so lucky she's your sister & you get to kiss her." Coby looks at him for a moment, mouth open. "Dude, that's just sick," Coby finally says, there not being any other way to put it.
