Astrid takes the first opportunity to get near Shay. While it felt really good to have it out with Gavin, doing it in front of Shay cost her some points. And Astrid means to turn Shay away from Gavin, get her to break his heart. So now she's working from the ground level, and has to behave professionally just to get Shay to look at her.

It works like a charm. Shay is obviously too nice for her own good, warming up to Astrid again very quickly.

Astrid decides to play on Shay's natural generosity, and falls to her knees, begging to be forgiven for her outburst last night.

Shay immediately jumps for the bait, sympathising with Astrid about how stressful the industry is. Astrid would like to laugh, but that would set her back again. And she still hasn't been able to get near Byron to try to seduce him. He's dated nearly every actress he's worked with: why can't she get his attention?

They do the scene again...Gavin is no Dream, he's a nighmare. Astrid hasn't had to work with such a bad actor since her high school plays. What kind of sick universe makes him the star, and a talent like hers a supporting actress? Byron ends the shoot & sends them home in the early morning hours, saying that have to shoot it again. Astrid fears Gavin will never shape up, and this movie will die, taking her career with it. She'd like to kill him.

The next day's shoot is another opportunity to ingratiate herself to Shay.
